International Shipping Heads For Stamford
Each year the international shipping community meets in Connecticut.The Connecticut Maritime Association (CMA) hosts Shipping 2010 in Stamford and it all begins Monday, March 22, 8 a.m.
For three days (through Wednesday, March 24), at the Hilton Hotel, One First Stamford Place, ship owners, managers, manufacturers, presidents, CEOs, marketing managers, lawyers, bankers, vice presidents, COOs, captains, mates and interested ancillary businesses meet, exchange information and find contacts, learn news and trends and talk business.
Exhibits on site offer a “remarkable opportunity for exploring trends in some of the businesses most important areas from shipyards to flag administrations to insurers and class.”

CMA was created as a network of shipping people, and remains a conduit for the exchange of information and a source of camaraderie and fellowship that is unique and vital to the shipping community. In 2003, the CMA celebrated its 20th anniversary. The association connects more than 1,300 members who represent 450 companies and organizations.
